1. Who we are
NicheDoctrine ("we", "us") is an Etsy niche research tool operated by Malik, Pakistan. Contact: irshad.malik007@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
In the current version, we collect nothing on our servers — the app has no accounts and no sign-up. Your searches, saved niches, and app settings are stored only on your own device (in the app's local storage), so you can see your history. They are never sent to us, and we cannot see them. If you email us for support, we use your email address only to reply.
3. Etsy data
NicheDoctrine uses the Etsy API to display publicly available listing and shop information. We do not access your private Etsy account, and we never ask for your Etsy password. We do not create, edit, or delete any listings.
4. How we use data
Because your research data stays on your device, there is nothing for us to sell, share, or profile — and we never would. Each user's research is private to that user by design: "your data, your secret."
5. Cached Etsy data
We cache Etsy API responses temporarily to keep the app fast, within the limits of Etsy's API Terms (listing content is never displayed more than 6 hours old; other content never more than 24 hours old). Cached data is deleted when it expires, on request, or when Etsy's terms require it.
6. Third parties
The app is served by our hosting provider, which delivers the app files like any website host. We use no analytics or advertising services, and there is no payment processor in the current version.
7. Cookies and device storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The app saves small preferences on your own device (local storage) so it remembers your settings; you can clear them at any time from your browser or device settings, which deletes your on-device history with them.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you at any time by emailing the contact address above. In the current version we hold no server-side data about users; if that ever changes, we will respond to requests within 30 days.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures such as HTTPS, but no system is 100% secure.
10. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 16.
11. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.

The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
